Help me welcome Maureen Kay Lynch to the Porch Swing!
Maureen is the author of two books, Second Chances and Lost and Found. They are the first two installments in her Pink Ribbon series. Why Pink Ribbon? Because through her books, Maureen desires to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
I got to know Maureen through our local ACFW chapter. Even though Maureen's mailing address is local for our chapter, as you can see, she lives wherever she wants to!

Please tell us a little bit about yourself!
Hello, my name is Maureen Lynch and I am a retired senior citizen/single mom/empty nester/fledgling author. I’ve lived half my life in Ohio, where I was born, and half in California. For the last six plus years, I’ve joyfully lived in my motorhome. My tiny home on wheels has allowed me to spend  more time with my loved ones while seeing more of the country. I self-publish under the name Maureen Kay Lynch. The Kay comes from my middle name. It has only been used within the family because I have a cousin close in age with the same name. She’s Maureen Ann.

Cake or Ice Cream?
Hmmm…I like both but I’ll choose ice cream, mainly due to the fact that ice cream stands far outnumber cake stands.

Summer or Winter?
Autumn? I love the crispness and color of autumn.

City or Country?
Depends on my mood or what I want to do. Live performances of nearly anything usually involves proximity to a city but I also love the calm, quiet beauty of the country.

Who is your favorite character from your current work-in-progress?
In my recently self-published book Lost and Found, I really liked Collier. He showed me so much of what I’ve always hoped to find in a man. Now all I need is a magic wand!

What does your writing space look like?
It’s a square desk made from IKEA products that holds my technology securely when I travel. I use the top of my bed as a return when I’m not sleeping.

What are you reading right now?
Actually, I’m listening to the entire Mrs. Jeffries cozy mystery series. I’ve read nearly all of them but I’ve been listening to them in order so that I can follow how she moves the series forward. There are also a number of romances in the back story and I wanted to see these develop chronologically.

What is at the top of your “bucket list?”
Currently, I’m hoping to get to a place where the sky is dark enough to see the Milky Way.

Where can readers learn more about you?
I’m on Facebook under the name Maureen Kay Lynch.
On Amazon I have an author page.
My website is maureenkaylynch.com.
I haven’t figured out Instagram/Twitter/Snapchat yet. And I still need to resolve the newsletter issue. I did mention ‘fledgling’ right? : )

Bravo, Maureen! I loved Second Chances-read it all at once. Too good to put down. Lost and Found is next on my reading list!

I loved both of the books and would highly recommend them. It's great how she incorporates breast cancer awareness into her stories. It's nice to read a romance book that isn't full of sex.
